Here's what I've up been up to lately and where you can currently see my work on display.

Commissions
I've had some lovely commission requests in the last few months, including this one of the lost Old Empire Bar on the Saltmarket, as well as some of city centre and south side places that are still under wraps.
I'm not starting anything else new now until into the new year but please do get in touch if you've got someone you want to surprise with a very personal gift - I'm always happy to discuss subjects and budgets.

Works on show at Tibo Bistro
Update: I've still got work on the walls at Tibo Bistro on Duke Street in Dennistoun, mostly of Glasgow and including some new drawings of the city – swapping things over regularly so there will always be something new to see. All works are framed originals, and all for sale. There's a new original watercolour of the Tibo frontage and a 10' x 10' print available too.
Do get along there for a look – Tibo does great coffee and I definitely recommend either the French toast or anything with their fabulous triple-cooked chips!

Prints on display at Chesne Hair
I have a few of my prints up at Chesne Hair in the Merchant City (in between the Christmas decorations!) All prints are archival quality giclees, available to buy framed from £32 or unframed from £20. There are some popular Glasgow sights there, including Dee of Trongate, Blitzkrieg in the Barras and the iconic Barrowland sign.

Big Art Show 2023
Update: the Big Art Show closed in Paisley on 18 November 2023. My artwork 'Doon the Barras' is now on display at Tibo Bistro in Dennistoun, available to buy for £175.

A Sense of Place
Update: a big thank you to everyone who came along to my pop-up exhibition 'A Sense of Place' on 2 and 3 September, and to the very helpful team at New Glasgow Society. Sharing the space with friends and neighbours, poet Mary Thomson and glass artist Catherine Lowe, meant it was a lovely mixed show, which turned out to be a great success for all three of us, as well as a lot of fun.
I'm delighted to think that works I sold will be on display in homes in Glasgow and beyond, an office in Inverness, and even heading their way to New York!
I also got some new commissions as a result of the show so that will keep me busy for a while, but do get in touch if you'd like to discuss a drawing of a place near and dear to you.

Paisley Art Institute 134th annual exhibition
Update: the PAI annual exhibition finished at the Maclaurin Art Gallery in Rozelle Park in Ayr on Sunday 20 June 2023. The show was a big success, sadly I didn't sell either of my works there but happy to report I have since sold my 'Ingram Street' drawing to a collector in Glasgow.
There's usually something good on at the Maclaurin if you're in the vicinity, and it's always good to see the Goudie 'Tam O'Shanter' series at Rozelle House (and have coffee and cake in the café!)
